  1. This package contains the SHAREWARE version of Labtest.  This version of
  2. Labtest may be used in a hobbiest environment.  If you are running a
  3. commercial system, or you are a commercial enterprise, you must purchase
  4. the COMMERCIAL version of Labtest.  In addition to the features contained
  5. in the shareware version, the commercial version contains many advanced
  6. features, and add-on utilities that are not available in the shareware
  7. version.

  9. The definition of COMMERCIAL for the purpose of determining which version
  10. of Labtest you are required to purchase:

  12.    If your BBS is a) operated from a commercial site, or b) is primarily a
  13.    fee-based system, then you must purchase the commercial version of
  14.    Labtest.
  15.  
  16.    If you are a CD-ROM publishing company, or a shareware distribution
  17.    house, or otherwise use Labtest in a commercial enterprise, then you
  18.    must purchase the commercial version of Labtest.
  19.  
  20.    If your BBS is 'free' or has one or more 'free' lines, where users can
  21.    log on, access the system for free, then you are considered a hobbiest
  22.    system, and are only required to register the shareware version.

  24. The commercial version of Labtest costs $49.95, contains many features not
  25. included in the shareware version, includes the advanced utilities disk, a
  26. printed manual, voice phone technical support, and entitles you to upgrade
  27. offers (usually free).  If you would like to order either the shareware or
  28. the commercial version of Labtest, you may do so in one of several ways:

  30.    1)  Fill out and mail in the registration form enclosed in the
  31.        distribution archive.  Be sure and check the applicable box for the
  32.        version you are ordering.
  33.  
  34.    2)  Log onto our BBS and use our online registration door.  The program
  35.        accepts Visa, Mastercard, and will also accept your checking account
  36.        number for online checking.  For Visa/Mastercard the processing time
  37.        is while you are online.  For checking, the processing time is 10 to
  38.        14 days.  When your check has cleared, the product will be shipped
  39.        to you.

  41.        If you are purchasing the commercial version of Labtest, we will
  42.        ship it out within 24 hours of the funds being made available in our
  43.        account.
